It is official!!! Jules is part of the Lucas family. We finalized her adoption process this afternoon. Which means we paid the rest of the adoption fee and Jules got one last flea and heart worm preventative application.
Em has become quite fond of Jules. She is constantly hugging on her and asking "pet her real soft???"
Adopting a dog or rescuing a dog is new to me. We always got puppies from breeders when I was little. However, I know many people only adopt/rescue from shelters, I think I can see why now. There are so many animals that need loving homes. For anyone reading this who may not be open
(open minded) to adopting an adult dog, you should consider it. This breed sure makes a
GREYT family pet.
Jules even got some new duds, part of the adoption fee covers a new collar and lead. I hope Paul doesn't mind the hot pink......she is a girl.
