Orange you glad?

Orange brownies.....sounds like an oxy moron, right?!?!? Let me tell you there was nothing moronic about these babies. They were DELISH!!! My husband who mostly likes all desserts chocolate really enjoyed these. Sometimes I like to try something different and I wasn't in the mood for plain old brownies. I will be glad to email anyone the recipe.

Recipe courtesy of a Paul Deen reader

Emmy wanted MORE immediately. "Yummy mussins mommy!" (translation: muffins)

Tyson also ate his weight in orange brownies over the weekend.

  1. Oh yum! Recipes please!!
Hey, Nora and I were "talking" on facebook about weekly meal planning. I have always wanted to start a small blog / group / something where others could exchange their weekly menus. Would you at all be interested?

  3. Valerie, so true about her needing to post on tasty kitchen! They sound so yummy. And I'm interested in a meal idea exchange...although ya'll might not want mine! I dont' have one and I really need to get my act together!

But what I think I like the most about your photos are the way you present your dish. See my brownies just stay in the pan, no pretty presentation for this Lucas bunch. Nope, they just have to scrape them out of the pan.

I like how Emerson calls her muffins. Luke calls them "pupcakes" (cup-cakes)....any and all muffins or cupcakes, it doesn't matter.

    Love ya!

  4. Val I think that would be fun. I'm totally in on the weekly recipe exchange or recipe blog. I usally make my weekly grocery trip on Sundays and I try to have at least 3 to 4 meals planned and try to buy the ingredients for those. And I try to use coupons when I can. My hubby is ok w/ leftovers, so I like things that will give us yummy leftovers. I'm so ready for some cooler weather beacause I LOVE homemade soups and casseroles.
