Two Peas........

Anyone that knows my husband knows that physical activity is an important part of his life.  And NOTHING gives him more pleasure than to engage in exercise and physical activity with his family, especially his kiddos.  Paul loves to ride his bicycle and he is looking forward to long family rides.  Sunday Tyson and Paul went out on a two mile bike ride.  I had to snap some pictures!

I think this is just the beginning.........

My worst fear.....

The pictures say it all.

Yes, they only road in the neighborhood, yes I said several prayers as they rode off and yes, unfortunatley.... Tyson LOVED it.

My boys with their toys

Cooler temperatures seem to bring out the spunk in my child. He wanted to play chase with Paul in the backyard..........but on wheels. And Paul was more than willing to comply, since he looks for any excuse to ride one of his motorcycles.

This might be the last year for Tyson's 4-wheeler, he has just about out grown it. Don't worry Em will gladly hop on.

Three times the FUN

I LOVE the fact that on any given nice day my husband would rather find a way to be with both of his kids outside rather than laying on the couch, watching football, or playing video games. For Christmas he wanted a "trail-a-bike" just so he could bring Tyson along with him on his bike rides. We already had the trailer(the yellow thing at the end of the train) to ride in, so Emmy just hopped right in and off they rode to the park. How cute are they?!?!?

I see a bicycle for Jill in the future............

Saturday Morning Breakfast

If I haven't said it before, I will say it now. I absolutely LOVE Tyson's elementary school. They do so much to get the parents and kids involved in the school. This morning was the Dad's Club Pancake Breakfast. Paul left this morning around 6:30 to help with set up. Once the kids were up, we bundled up (did I forget to mention it was like 27 degrees this morning) and headed to the school for some pancakes, bacon and juice. Tyson thought it was "pretty cool" that Daddy was "working" in the cafeteria.

It's unfortunate that Em felt the need to show the camera her pancakes

I had to snap a few shots of the kids sporting their winter wear. They don't get to wear these types of clothes often.

"Why can't we put 39 candles on the cake?"

"Because that would be a whole lot of candles Buddy, and Daddy may not like that much flame."

Paul turned 39 today. I really didn't know that when we were hanging out on his 27th birthday that 12 years later we'd be celebrating his 39th together with our two children.

Happy Birthday Babe, I love you and NO, I did not get you another motorcycle.

It was a group effort to blow the birthday boy's candle out.

Buddy never turns down my homemade desserts

Emmy enjoyed her first piece of Texas Chocolate Sheath Cake

There is something really special to me about this picture!
