White Christmas...............kinda

The weather guys here in Oklahoma are sort of famous.  They had been predicting snow for a few weeks before Christmas.  They swore OK would have a white Christmas.  Well we didn't have a total white out but it did snow and it was COLD.

I think this was the first time my family had ever had snow on actual Christmas Day.

There is only one way to warm up after being outside in 16 degree temperatures, hot chocolate with lots of marshmallows and a melted candy cane too.

Merry Christmas 2012

Christmas morning is always an exciting time, having mom and dad here always makes it extra special.

We kept the kids in our room overnight, we were afraid they may wake up during the night and catch Santa leaving gifts.  I came out first and waited by the tree to snap a picture.  I love the looks on their little faces.

Em just loved her new desk from Santa which came fully stocked with art supplies.

And my Buddy got his electric scooter from Santa.

Props to Santa for also getting him the helmet!

The best Christmas presents EVER!

 The aftermath........

We had a wonderful Christmas and I feel so very blessed.

Christmas Eve Festivities

For the first time ever we went to Christmas Eve services with my parents and my children.  Paul and I have found a church that we enjoy and are in the process of becoming members and making it our church home.  We couldn't wait to take Mom and Dad there for the Children's Christmas Service.  It was special!

Grandpa and his mini me. Tyson was so excited that him and Grandpa both had on sweater vests.

Love my familia!  Just missing Jenn!

I just love this picture of my parents with the kids!  Everyone looks so happy!  Mom looks pretty different compared to last year.

When we got home it was time for Tyson to continue his annual tradition and read "Twas the Night Before Christmas" to all of us.

Christmas Memories!  I hope these are the kinds of things my kiddos will remember and share with their children.

Christmas Baking with my little Punkin

Em and I bake all of the time together but Christmas cookie baking is a favorite.  Even Grandpa wanted to come hang out with us girls in the kitchen.
