Last summer I introduced Tyson to the Adventures of Flat Stanley books. He was instantly sold on this series about a little boy who had become flattened like a postcard and his many travels and adventures. Tyson's class created their own personal "Flat Stanley." Then their spring break assignment was to take Stanley with them and include him in their plans. Which explains why all of the pictures I took over spring break had Tyson holding a "paper doll," as my sister put it. The second part of their homework assignment was to take pictures, and display them in a way they could present them to the class.
